Jesus said the following about homosexuality, ” .” That’s it, period.
Now Jesus did talk about heterosexuality, marriage, and divorce. But that is another post.
If it were not for grace, we would ALL be in trouble.

AMEN! Now, if we could have only others just say nothing…
Did Jesus say anything about prostitution? I know where he spoke to a prostitute and said
something like, “Sin no more.” But do you know of any parts where he mentioned
prostitution?
1) Was Jesus a first century Jew?
2) Did Jesus believe and affirm the Law and Prophets (like a first century Jew would)?
3) The point of the gospels is not to discuss sexuality anyway, so it’s misleading to claim that Jesus didn’t mention anything about sexuality since that implies that it was an issue to be brought up in the first place. You can’t make our issues and concerns the issues and concerns of first century Jews, nor can you make these concerns the concerns of the gospel authors. Homosexuality wasn’t a controversy among first century Jews because the Law – not to mention the natural order – was clear.
Dear James, allow me to respond.
1) “Was Jesus a first century Jew?” Yes.
2) “Did Jesus believe and affirm the Law and Prophets (like a first century Jew would)?”
Jesus believed and affirmed the Law and the Prophets BUT so much more. His ministry was not to confirm Jewish law but to teach the spirit of the law which is far beyond anything the law ever suggested.
3) “The point of the gospels is not to discuss sexuality anyway, so it’s misleading to claim that Jesus didn’t mention anything about sexuality since that implies that it was an issue to be brought up in the first place.”
Sexuality is discussed throughout the Gospels and Jesus called all to more than we can ever do if we understand the spirit of his calling, thus all of us needing to rely on God’s grace. There is no room for hubris over another in the Gospels.
God bless you and all those you love.
